Today, First Lady of Azerbaijan, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva met with the ambassadors of France, Iran and Egypt.
At a meeting with the head of the French diplomatic mission Aurelia Bouchez, Mehriban Aliyeva underlined that relations between the countries are developing today in politics, economy and culture, highlighting the cooperation in the humanitarian sphere. As head of the parliamentary friendship group Azerbaijan-France also pointed out the high level of relations between the legislative bodies of the republics.
At a meeting with Iranian Ambassador Mohsun Pak Ain, Mehriban Aliyeva pointed out the role of political relations between Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the development of both countries, including mutual visits of the heads of state. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation attaches special importance to humanitarian contacts with Iran, the president of the Foundation said, adding that she expected to strengthen ties in education and culture in the future.
At a meeting with the official representative of Egypt to Azerbaijan Suzanne Mohamed Jamil, Mehriban Aliyeva recalled that friendly ties bind the two countries and two peoples, noting that mutual support of each other in international organizations. She expressed confidence in the continuation of this cooperation in the future.
