The first lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva, met with the US Ambassador to to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta.
Mehriban Aliyeva said Azerbaijan and the US are successfully cooperating in a number of fields, including the political and economic spheres. The president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation stressed the cooperation between the two countries in the oil and gas sector.
Mehriban Aliyeva also noted that the biggest projects of the region were implemented in Azerbaijan. New head of the representation of US Agency for International Development (USAID), Michaela Meredith, was also present at the meeting.
