Melikov: North Caucasus is in a risk zone due to the operation in Syria

‘‘The beginning of the Russian operations in Syria creates additional risks for the whole country and Northern Caucasus in particular,’’ the presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Sergey Malikov said.

"We should not forget that a significant increase of the Russian activity in the international arena, especially in the Middle East region can bring additional risks,’’ RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
