Russia welcomes Iran's work on strengthening cooperation with the SCO in many areas, SCO Secretary General Dmitry Mezentsev said.
"Representatives of Iran attend almost all ministerial exchanges, meetings of generals and secretaries of security councils, and assess it positively," TASS cited Mezentsev as saying.
"We should welcome the progress in the negotiations on Iran's nuclear program. It is clear that we shouldn't indicate any time frames, it is necessary to achieve a significant, important document," Mezentsev noted.
