Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence said in an interview that aired Monday on CNN’s “New Day” that Russian President Vladimir Putin “has a strong authoritarian tendency to him in Russia".
"I think he's someone that needs to be watched," he said.
Pence also said Trump’s leadership would get the world’s respect.
