Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller said that the company expects a decrease in gas production in Europe below the level of 200 billion cubic meters a year by 2025.
"If we look at the statistics, we will see that the production in Europe is declining rapidly. 317 billion cubic meters of gas was produced in 2005 and 305 billion cubic meters of gas in 2010. Evaluation of the 2015 is 267 billion cubic meters," RIA Novosti cited Miller saying.
According to him, it means that over the past 10 years, the volume of gas production in Europe fell by 50 billion cubic meters.
