Miners die in Kyrgyzstan coal mine gas leak

Gas leak in coal mine in Kyrgyzstan's Sulukta led to death of four miners, the Ministry of Emergencies reported citing miner Nazyrbek Kudaiberdiyev.

The miner said that the people remained in the mine.

Rescuers arrived on the scene and recovered the bodies of 4 people who died of gas poisoning. All of them were residents of Leilek district. Two of the deceased were brothers.

The bodies were handed to relatives, AKIpress reported.
