Salaries of working Russians will be increased next year. Today, at a plenary session, the State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill to increase the minimum wage for Russians.
According to the bill, in Russia the minimum wage will be increased by 18.5% to 19,242 rubles.
“Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an increase in the minimum wage by 18.5% from January 1, 2024. An important decision that will protect people and increase real incomes. As a result of the implementation of this order, 4.8 mln people will receive increased wages,”
- State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said.
