Minor earthquake hits Georgia’s south

On the morning of July 16, a  3.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in southern Georgia.

Tremors were recorded at 06:13 local time (05:13 Moscow time). The source of the earthquake was near the village of Sameba.

There is no information on victims and destructions at the moment, Sputnik Georgia reports.

On July 11, 7 earthquakes with a 3.0-magnitude occurred in this area.
