Today, Minsk hosted talks between the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Belarus, Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Andrei Kobyakov, on the results of which the Georgian Prime Minister stated that the two countries intend to actively participate in the project of creation of the Silk Road.
"We also discussed cooperation in the field of transport and reviewed the Silk Road initiative. In this regard, we have outlined ways to ensure more active participation of Georgia and Belarus in this process," he stressed.
The head of the Georgian government reported that there are no obstacles for the development of relations between the countries. "We have expressed full readiness to continue close cooperation in the international organizations," Sputnik Georgia quotes Kvirikashvili as saying.
