Russia has proved to be a reliable participant of talks on Iran’s nuclear program and this creates a further possibility of cooperation between Moscow and the European Union, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, said today.
"The cooperation with Russia in this format on the issue was very positive. This shows that cooperation on important global or regional issues is possible. I think this opportunity should be further used," she said.
According to Mogherini, the EU and Russia have other joint issues that are yet to be solved. As an example, she mentioned the Middle East settlement.
