Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has appointed Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri as the new Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces.
He replaced the Major General Hassan Firouzabadi, the Press TV reports.
In another decree, Ayatollah Khamenei appointed General Firouzabadi as the senior military adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who is also Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces.
