Vice Mayor of Riga Vilnis Kirsis said that the city authorities are considering all options for the demolition of the monument to Soviet soldiers-liberators, including blowing it up.
He noted that it is too early to talk about the price of demolition, since it is necessary to create a project and announce a procurement tender for dismantling.
In addition, the mayor's office reported that the monument would be demolished by November 15 this year, Lenta.ru informs.
