More than 20 suspected terrorists detained in Moscow region

Security forces have detained over 20 suspected terrorists and terrorism supporters during a large-scale operation in Moscow and the surrounding suburbs on Wednesday. 

"The special operation was carried out by agents of the Federal Security Service together with the Interior Ministry's anti-extremism center and special forces," a source in law enforcement told the TASS news agency. 

The suspects are believed to be part of an Islamic "Wahabbist underground" in the Moscow region, the Moscow Times reports.
