More than 300 cars were blocked on the Georgian Military High Road due to heavy snowfall, the EMERCOM reports.
The emergency department specified that 315 cars and 434 people are waiting for an opportunity to move. On the road, there are stationary heating and food courts, one mobile heating system provided by the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
The section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars road was closed the day before due to the threat of avalanches, Sputnik-Georgia reports.
