More than 500 people were detained in Turkey as part of the operation conducted against the PKK terrorist organization, the Turkish Interior Ministry reported.
In a statement, the ministry said 544 detentions across the country were made on November 21-27.
The majority was detained in the Van province (42 people) and Ankara (21 people).
