Moscow airport in Ramenskoye officially becomes ‘Zhukovsky’

A new international airport in the Moscow region of Zhukovsky was named finally- it became the Zhukovsky airport, according to a statement signed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and posted on the website of the Russian government.

”At the Ramenskoye airfield of the Gromov Flight Research Institute located in the city of Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, an investment project is being implemented for the creation of an international airport aimed at solving strategic tasks in the field of air transportation, including the creation of a lowcost air carrier," RIA News cites the document.
