Russia expects that Azerbaijan and Armenia will be able to begin a substantive dialogue on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, Russia's permanent representative to the OSCE, Alexander Lukashevich, said.
"We still expect that the sides will begin a substantive dialogue on the conflict settlement principles," RIA Novosti cited Lukashevich as saying.
The diplomat also commented the recent meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, assessing it as the "significant advance" to resolve the conflict.
