The heavy rains can cause a rise in water level in the rivers of Crimea up to 1.5 m, and, respectively, mudslides are possible, the press service of the EMERCOM in the republic reports.
"According to the Crimean Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, rises in the water levels by 0.5-1.5 meters in the rivers of Crimea will remain until the end of July 2nd and during July 3rd. The mudflows are possible on the South Coast,’’ RIA Novosti cites the message of the press-service.
The rescuers call to be careful near the rivers, do not to approach directly to water and take care about children and elderly people.
