According to the official account of the religious organization on Instagram, in Dagestan, the republic’s muftiate paid the food debts of poor residents in many cities of the region.
"Left without funds to feed the family, many residents were forced to borrow food at local grocery stores. An assistant to the Mufti of Dagestan, Muhammad Mukoshdibirov, paid off the debts of these people (in the Tsumadi district of Dagestan)," the report reads.
