The Minister of Sports of Russia, the head of the Russian Football Union Vitaly Mutko, said after a meeting of the FIFA Executive Committee in Zurich that members of the executive committee of the organization were delighted by the organization of the provisional draw of the 2018 World Cup, which had taken place in St. Petersburg on July 25th.
‘’We had no global news due to the fact that the draw has taken place recently. We discussed this period and even showed a film about the draw, saying that it was a significant event. Everybody was delighted with the draw," Mutko said.
According to the Minister of Sports of Russia, he told the members of the executive committee how Russia celebrated 1000 days before the beginning of the World Cup, as well as about the list of 60 training bases which was sent to national football federations.
