Russia could cease financing the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) unless it restores the rights of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency, the Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko said.
"My belief is that if our organization is not restored for another period of time, what's the point of paying?" Sputnik cited Mutko as saying.
In 2015, the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) Independent Commission issued a report accusing Russia of numerous breaches of global anti-doping regulations, which led to Russia’s suspension from the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
