Parliamentarians from the NATO nations have appealed for Alliance leaders to continue providing strong political and practical support to Georgia in the process of NATO integration and to advance the further political dimension of the country’s NATO membership process.
In a declaration at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Spring Session in Poland, Warsaw, lawmakers stressed the need to "continue rendering strong political and practical support to Georgia in the process of NATO integration and to advance further political dimension of Georgia’s NATO membership process."
The declaration also urged Tbilisi to preserve openness to a meaningful dialogue with Moscow.
