On the NATO foreign ministers meeting that will be held on December 1-2, the topic of the security implications of China's rise and its role in the Asia-Pacific region will be discussed, Jens Stoltenberg said in an interview with the German Funke media group.
"We must discuss the consequences of China's ascent,” TASS quotes him as saying.
Stoltenberg stressed that China is investing more in the expansion of its military capabilities, which includes new atomic weapons and missiles that can reach the territory of NATO member states.
