NATO will open the Defense Institution Building School (DIB School) in Georgia in 2016.
The General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces held a meeting yesterday to discuss the issue of establishing DIB School. The Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia, Anna Dolidze, provided information on the implementation of the project, objectives and priorities of the school. She said that the establishment of the DIB School is a part of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package that Georgia gained at the NATO Summit in Wales.
"Implementation of the project will promote Georgia to become one of the leading countries to export the reforms made in the defence and security spheres. We have quite a lot of experience in how to improve policy and service in the defence and security spheres," Georgia Online cited her as saying.
According to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia, the school will serve to develop knowledge and share it with Georgia's partner countries in the region.
