Nairit workers to get wages in 1- 2 days

All the employees of the Nairit chemical plant will receive their salaries in one or two days, Armenian Minister for Energy, Yervand Zakharyan said during a Cabinet meeting today.

“There are no obstacles to paying the wages. The wage documents will be finished in 1-2 days,” NEWS.am cited the minister as saying.

The total debt of the Nairit chemical rubber plant to the workers amounts to 5.3 billion drams ($11 million). The workers have been staging protests near the government building and president's residence demanding solutions to their problems.
