Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has held talks with his Serbian collegue Tomislav Nikolic, who is in the country on an official visit.
He said that he considers Serbia as an important partner in Europe, and plans to develop a relationship with it in all directions.
"We exchanged views on mutual use of the transport and transit potential of Kazakhstan and Serbia in the context of increasing the volume of freight traffic between Asia and Europe," the President of Kazakhstan reported, adding that they also discussed "the possibility of cooperation in the framework of the single market of the EAEU."
"In the long-term prospects we see joint projects in the sectors of recycling, transport, transit, construction, agriculture, tourism and small and medium-sized business," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
