The speaker of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, will hold a meeting with the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev today during Volodin's official visit to Astana, the State Duma press service said.
Volodin, who will pay his first official international visit as Russia’s lower house speaker, will discuss with Nazarbayev the development of bilateral inter-state and inter-parliamentary relations, according to the statement.
“During the official visit to Kazakhstan, speaker of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin will meet on December 12 with the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and the chairmen of both houses of the parliament – Nurlan Nigmatulin and Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev," Sputnik cited the statement as saying.
