Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev started his official two-day visit to Saudi Arabia, the press service of the Kazakh President said.
Nazarbayev visited the western Saudi city of Medina, where he met with the Governor of Madinah province, Faisal bin Salman Al Saud.
In Medina, Nazarbayev has visited the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, a mosque of Prophet Muhammad, to pray and praise the architecture of the shrine.
Riyadh, was the next stop of Nazarbayev and the venue of his meeting with King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. The two leaders signed a number of deals, AKIpress reports.
The Kazakh authorities and businessmen are also expected to have some meetings in Saudi Arabia.
