Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev announced his plans to visit Japan this autumn.
According to him, the relevant agreement was reached during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington.
"We agreed that in the fall, during my visit to Tokyo, a special plan for the development of our cooperation in different sectors of the economy will be adopted. Japan is Kazakhstan’s partner in many areas. This country has provided us a lot of help in rehabilitation of the victims of the tests at the Semipalatinsk site,’’ RIA Novosti quotes Nazarbayev as saying.
