Georgian Parliamentary Speaker Davit Usupashvili has said that the new Prime Minister and a new government will be approved before the new year.
He noted that under the Constitution, the parliamentary majority must submit a candidate for the post of President within seven days.
"At the beginning of next week the Parliament will vote on the issue of confidence in respect of the new prime minister and the government. The process should be completed before 2016,'' Tass cites him as saying.
