Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili appointed David Rakviashvili the Secretary of the National Security Council.
Previously, he served as the Deputy State Minister for Reintegration. In 2011-2013 he worked as the Georgian ambassador to the United States. Rakviashvili is also a co-founder of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs, Georgia - Online reports.
Previous Secretary of the National Security Council Irina Imerlishvili became a judge of the Georgian Constitutional Court.
