Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed a decree on Tuesday to appoint the former Kazakh Defense Minister Imangali Tasmagambetov to the post of the country's deputy prime minister, the presidential press service said.
"Imangali Tasmagambetov will be appointed the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and will be relieved of the duties of defense minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the document says.
In addition, Saken Zhasuzakov was named the Defence Minister.
