The Marneuli and Hujaby eparchy has released information about a vandal and barbaric act that was carried out against the newly restored St. George Temple in Marneuli, Interpress agency reported.
The eparchy spread the photos showing the incident. The eparchy terms the incident as a deliberate provocation and states that it is not the first such case. The Marneuli and Hujaby eparchy released a statement about the mentioned incident.
“The abovementioned requires immediate legal and moral response from our society in order to prevent similar outrageous incidents in the future, as it directly hits the traditional friendly cultural, religious and ethnic relations between our peoples” the statement of the eparchy says.
