One of the most famous opposition politicians in Georgia, Nino Burjanadze, whose United Georgia party has so far failed to overcome the 1% barrier to enter the parliament, said today that she would not recognize the election results in any case.
"While the counting in Batumi is underway, and, most likely, we will overcome the barrier. But even in this case, I am not going to recognize the legitimacy of the elections. I am not going to bargain over one or two seats in parliament. I left the chair of the parliament speaker and not going to change my principles because of the seat of an ordinary deputy, "Sputnik-Georgia quotes her as saying.
