Nord Stream 2 AG is going to file a bankruptcy petition in coming days, Stuttgarter Zeitung newspaper reported, citing managing director of the company Matthias Warnig.
Nord Stream 2 AG will apply "in coming days" to the court in Zug, Switzerland, with a relevant request providing in particular for "a temporary moratorium" on operations, Warnig said, cited by the newspaper.
Certification of the Nord Stream 2 AG is under suspension from February 22. US introduced sanctions against Nord Stream 2 AG and its management on February 23.
