The authorities of North Ossetia have signed a memorandum of understanding with the central department of Paraguay.
"I believe that today, when global changes occur in the world and we face new challenges, the establishment of close contacts and mutually beneficial cooperation between regions of Russia and foreign countries is especially important and necessary," the head of North Ossetia Vyacheslav Bitarov said.
He noted that North Ossetia is looking forward to working with Paraguay in trade, economic, agricultural and cultural fields.
