Azerbaijani Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov appealed to President Ilham Aliyev to be removed from his position, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov announced at the plenary meeting today.
Ogtay Asadov wished Novruz Mammadov good health, expressed appreciation for the work he did on this post.
Earlier today, the appointment of of Assistant to the President for Economic Issues Ali Asadov as Prime Minister of Azerbaijan has been included in the agenda of the Azerbaijani Parliament's meeting.
Novruz Mammadov was appointed prime minister in April 2018.
