US Assistant Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, said that the US intends to continue to find ways in order to normalize relations with Russia.
"I regret very much that we are where we are, but I think that the American side tried very hard during the three administrations of both parties to address Russia and we will continue to do this,'' RIA Novosti cites her as saying.
At the same time, Assistant Secretary of State noted that Washington is interested in cooperation with Russia in such spheres as counter-terrorism and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
