Number of long-livers increases in Russia

The number of people born 100 years or more ago increased significantly in Russia.

This is almost a thousand more than the year before, the Rosstat reported. It is specified that most of the long-livers are women.

Demographers also note that life expectancy is growing primarily due to the development of medicine.
