Azerbaijani athletes Nurana Aliyeva and Firdovsi Farzaliyev won the bronze medals of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku in karate (kumite) competitions.
In the fight for the bronze medal in weight up 50 kg, Aliyeva was stronger than Srunita Sukatendel from Indonesia. Farzaliev in weight up to 60 kg defeated an Indonesian Suryadi Suryadi, finishing the battle for 3rd place with the score of 6: 0.
The 4th Islamic solidarity Games are held in Baku on May 8-22. Athletes will compete at 16 sports facilities in 17 Olympic and three non-Olympic types of sports.
