Nurlan Borambayev was appointed Trade Representative of Kazakhstan in Russia, according to the press service of the Kazakh Prime Minister.
Borambayev was born in 1971 in Tselinograd. In 1993, he graduated from Seifullin Akmola Pedagogical University as a teacher of labor training and general technical disciplines, in 1995, he graduated from Akmola Financial and Economic Technical School with a degree in accounting and audit, in 2007 — Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University with a degree in economics.
Since 2006, he worked in the Office of Presidential Affairs of Kazakhstan, held the posts of deputy head of department, head of department. Since June 2010 to March 2012, he was deputy general director of the Tele-Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan. From March 2012 to October 2013, he worked as deputy director of the State Enterprise 'State Airline Berkut' of the Office of the President of Kazakhstan, from 2013 to 2017, he was president of Astana Kazakhstan Insurance Company.
In July 2017, he was appointed deputy director of the RSE 'Directorate of Administrative Buildings of the Presidential Administration and the Government of Kazakhstan' of the Office of the President of Kazakhstan. From January 2019, he has been deputy head of the State institution 'Directorate of Logistics'.
