OSCE calls Russia's contribution to Karabakh settlement effective

The current Russian contribution to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is very effective, it should create conditions for a new negotiating process to resolve the conflict, the OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier said.

The OSCE Secretary General expressed hope that Russia's participation "will bring results and create conditions for a new phase of negotiations."

The OSCE Secretary General said he plans to discuss the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow.

"I will visit Moscow in late April and perhaps I will have an opportunity to exchange views on this subject," Zannier noted.
