Giorgi Lordkipanidze, the head of the main directorate of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry in the Odessa Oblast, ordered that all police officers take down all roadblocks on the roads to the center of the regions and turn in the weapons, TASS reports.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko appointed Georgian former Deputy Interior Minister Lordkipanidze to the post on May 30.
