Oleg Belozerov is the new head of Russian Railways

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has appointed First Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Oleg Belozerov as the head of Russian Railways. Today the Prime Minister held a meeting with him.

"I have decided to appoint you as the head of the joint-stock company 'Russian Railways' with the simultaneous release from the post of First Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation," Interfax quoted Medvedev as saying.
