The family of the Su-24 pilot Oleg Peshkov killed in Syria refused the compensation from he Turkish authorities.
The pilot's brother Pavel Peshkov told the Govorit Moskva radio station that the family is not going to ask Turkey for any compensation and will not accept it if it is offered.
“This is not just humiliating, it's awful,” the Moscow Times cited him as saying.
The Kemer City Hall offered to give a house in the country's seaside resort of Kemer to the family of a Russian fighter pilot downed by Turkish air forces, TASS reports.
