Oman is interested in the export of gas from Iran. A delegation from Oman visited Tehran to discuss this issue, CEO of Iran's National Gas Export Co. Alireza Kamali said.
According to Kamali, Iranian consulting company was already selected, which will conduct some researches under the project for the construction of the pipeline required to supply Iranian gas to Oman. The studies will be carried out on both sides of the future pipeline at the same time to avoid any delays in the work, Iran.ru reports.
According to the agreement concluded between the two countries in 2013, Iranian gas will be delivered to Oman for 15 years via the bottom of the Persian Gulf in the volume of up to 28 million cubic meters per day.
