One ceasefire violation by the Armenian side was registered in Nagorno-Karabakh in the zone of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers, the Russian defense ministry said on Sunday.
"One ceasefire violation by the Armenian side was registered in the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. No one was hurt. The situation was settled by the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in cooperation with representatives of the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides," it said.
Russian peacekeepers monitor the situation and control the ceasefire round-the-clock at 27 observation posts.
According to the Russian defense ministry, Russian peacekeepers escorted four Azerbaijani army’s convoys via the Lachin corridor and conducted patrol missions along four routes.
"To ensure the security of Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible incidents, the contingent’s command maintains contacts with the Azerbaijani and Armenian General Staffs," the ministry said.
