The creation of the organizing committee for the matches of the European Football Championship 2020 in Baku is planned by the end of this year. This was announced by the Secretary General of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), Elkhan Mammadov.
Euro 2020 will be the first in the history of the tournament to be held in several countries. Matches will be held in London, Munich, Baku, St. Petersburg, Rome, Copenhagen, Bucharest, Amsterdam, Dublin, Bilbao, Budapest, Brussels and Glasgow. Baku and St. Petersburg will host three group matches and one quarterfinal match. The finals will be held at Wembley Stadium in London.
