Over 9,500 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes delivered to Ukraine from Russia

A total of 9,521 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes have already been delivered to Ukraine by the Russian side since March 2, Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on Thursday.

"Since March 2, a total of 9,521.3 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes have been delivered to Ukraine by Russia. As many as 767 humanitarian operations have been conducted, including seven during the past day in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, the Kharkov and Kherson regions. As many as 850 tonnes of essentials, medicines and food were distributed among civilians," said Mizintsev, who heads the Russian Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.

He also said that 11 humanitarian actions were carried out on April 7 in the DPR and LPR, in the Kharkov and Kherson regions, during which 407 tonnes of essentials and food are distributed among the population.
